WATERBURY, CT Agathia (Puleshi) Bequary of Waterbury, Connecticut, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Beaconbrook Health Care Center, Naugatuck, Connecticut Naugatuck is a borough in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 30,989 at the 2000 census. The town spans both sides of the Naugatuck River just south of Waterbury, and includes the town center of Union City, which has its own post office. .

Mrs. Bequary is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas R. Bequary, who died in 1974.

Mrs. Bequary also leaves eight grandchildren: Christine McGovern, Peter Lukes, Katherine Bequary, Nicole Owler, Alexis Bennett, Nicholas Bequary, Cassandra Bequary and Damion Bequary and seven great grandchildren.

Agathia Puleshi Bequary was born in Hosteve, Gjiorkaster, Albania, the daughter of Victor and Katerina Puleshi. For several years she worked alongside her husband at the family restaurant, the Sunview Restaurant, in Waterbury, Connecticut.
