AgVenture, Kentland, Ind., announced the appointment of Mark Jacques to the newly created position of vice president of product and operations. Jacques will be responsible for management of the selection and the selection process of the company's seed products and traits, all seed production and quality control operations, all corporate inventories, and for budget and cash flow forecasts. Jacques has worked in the seed industry for the past 20 years, including a position as director of research at AgriPro Seeds. He also spent time as an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky.
