Ag-Bag International announces developments in its Grain Division.WARRENTON, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 19, 1996--Ag-Bag International Ltd. announced today that it recently sold a grain bagging system to Simex, located in Istanbul, Turkey. The $40,000 sale includes the company's Pro-Grain bagger along with Tri-Dura bags. Art Schuette, Grain Division Manager, stated "We are excited about the expansion of our grain bagging system into Turkey." Schuette went on to say "Simex is a Turkish feed handling and grain storage company headquartered in Istanbul. We look forward to the opportunity to work with Simex and expand sales into the region." Gokhan Sime, President of Simex stated "Our Company plans to introduce and demonstrate the Ag-Bag grain storage system in Turkey and also several regions of the former Russian Ukraine where strong efforts are currently being made to increase grain production." Sime went on to say "At present, grain storage systems are inadequate and the Ag-Bag system has tremendous potential in these areas." In 1994, Ag-Bag introduced its Pro-Grain Bagger, a patented auger-style machine, using Ag-Bag Tri-Dura storage bags, as an alternative storage method to grain elevators.
