Ag Services of America, Inc. held an open house in March at its new office complex in Cedar Falls Cedar Falls, city (1990 pop. 34,298), Black Hawk co., N Iowa, on the Cedar River; inc. 1854. It developed as a milling center in the late 19th-century after the coming of the railroad; its name is derived from the cedar tree. Largely residential, the city has light manufacturing. Cedar Falls is the seat of the Univ. of Northern Iowa and of the Evangelical Campgrounds, scene of the annual Interdenominational Bible Conference., Iowa. Over 600 community business people, general public, and various suppliers, customers, and business partners stopped in to see the new facility. Also in attendance was the Olson Family of Ulm Ulm ( lm), city (1994 pop. 114,839), Baden-Württemberg, S Germany, on the Danube (Donau) River. It is an active river port, rail junction, and industrial center. Manufactures include motor vehicles, machinery, electrical equipment, and diversified, light manufacturing.">New Ulm New Ulm (ŭlm), city (1990 pop. 13,132), seat of Brown co., S Minn., at the confluence of the Minnesota and Cottonwood rivers; inc. as a city 1876. It is a processing and trade center for an agricultural area with grain, soybeans, peas, sugar beets, livestock, and dairy cattle., Minn., the winners of the ATV giveaway promotion through Powerfarm.com.
