Camp Fire USA is a nationwide youth organization that began on March 17, 1910 as Camp Fire Girls. The organization has been co-ed since 1975 and has youth from pre-kindergarten through age 21.
 has compiled a helpful two-page description of several research studies that reveal the positive impact young people enjoy after participating in after-school and summer youth programs. Distributed by the National Collaboration Working together on a project. After-school and summer youth programs help children and youth stay safe while parents are at work. And youth programs are a cost-effective cost-effective,
