It was very interesting and informative reading the article on the Christian victory over the Ottoman Turks The Ottoman Turks were the subdivision of the Ottoman Muslim Millet that dominated the ruling class of the Ottoman Empire. The ruling class is covered under Ottoman Dynasty.  in October 1571 at the Battle of Lepanto ("Armada of the Cross," March 10th issue). , finally defeated the Ottoman Turks in 1683 (July 14th-September 12th) and stopped the Moslem armies' advance into Europe. The final day of fighting was September 11, 1683. The battle is among the most famous battles in Europe.
