), Jean Caslin resigned on February 28, 2005 at the request of the board. In a press release, Kevin Bassler, the board president said, "We hope the change will re-energize us. The exhibition program has been our strength, but now we want to make HCP more of a center for photography. We want to expand educational programs with more discussion, and broaden our role in the community at large." The board named Allison Hunter as interim director. Hunter had been curator CURATOR, persons, contracts. One who has been legally appointed to take care of the interests of one who, on account of his youth, or defect of his understanding, or for some other cause, is unable to attend to them himself.
