African-American Leaders to Demand Meeting with Supervisors Peskin and Sandoval Today to Call for Home Depot Approval.


WHAT:   Members of San Francisco's African-American community will
        hold a news conference in front of Board of Supervisor
        President Aaron Peskin's office today to draw attention to
        concerns of economic racism and injustice regarding the
        Board's blatant opposition to the Home Depot project.

WHEN:   Monday October 31, at 3:00 p.m.

WHERE:  City Hall, directly in front of Supervisor Peskin's Office.

NOTE:   After the news conference, African American leaders will walk
        to the Mayor's Office to reiterate their strong support for
        the Home Depot project.
