.) is pleased to announce that it expects the distance learning centre at the Phandimfundo Secondary School to be operational by August 21st.

The installation of distance learning services has also begun at the Rolihlahla Primary School in Etwatwa, which was officially opened by the Honourable Dr. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela Noun 1. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela - South African statesman who was released from prison to become the nation's first democratically elected president in 1994 (born in 1918)

 on April 13, 1992. This centre is expected to be completed by the 21st of August.

The Company would like to outline the following near term key advances in the installation of its value-added networks:

The TeleTrade Centre currently being installed in the Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  Supermarket will be operational by September 31st. The timing allows the Company to train and develop staff in the following three areas of responsibility: technology, maintenance and marketing. The training will be conducted at the Phandimfundo distance learning centre.

Subsequent to the completion of the TeleTrade Centre at Las Vegas, the Company will initiate installation of the telemedicine centre for Etwatwa at the beginning of October.

The Company will begin installation of the Zonkinzizwe distance learning centre on September 31st and expects completion of the centre on October 8th, 2000.

Additional targets and goals for future TeleTrade, Distance Learning and Telemedicine centres will be announced in the fall of this year.

. African Sky Communications Inc, through a joint venture has obtained the right to provide communication services in South Africa. In addition the Company has an agreement with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, is a preferential trading area with twenty member states stretching from Libya to Zimbabwe. COMESA formed in December 1994, replacing a Preferential Trade Area which had existed since 1981.  (COMESA COMESA Common Market for Eastern & Southern Africa ) to implement and operate communication networks in its 21 member states. Currently South Africa has a teledensity (number of main telephone lines per 100 people) of less than 12 and the COMESA region has a teledensity of less than 1. The Company is utilizing wireless and satellite based communications and is delivering services such as telemedicine and distance learning specifically to the women and children in the region. Currently the Company is in the process of implementing the first phase of its network in South Africa. Recently the Company has formed a partnership with the International Development Research Centre, Canada (IDRC IDRC International Development Research Centre (Canada)

) to provide monitoring and evaluation services on the impact of its communication network. The IDRC (www.idrc.ca) will also source external funding for the Company's distance learning and telemedicine projects.
