African Legend and AXS-One South Africa Form a Joint Venture.

RUTHERFORD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2001

AXS-One Inc. (AMEX: AXO), a leading global provider of e-business solutions, today announced its South African subsidiary has created a joint venture with African Legend Technologies, part of the African Legend Investment Black Empowerment Group.

The new company, AXS-One African Solutions, will be 51% owned by African Legend and 49% owned by AXS-One, and will be headed by Al Clegg from AXS-One, who will be its CEO. The full board of AXS-One African Solutions consists of Mashudu Tshivhase (chairman), Al Clegg (CEO), Jacqui Copplestone (Marketing Manager - AXS-One), Dorethea Horak (also Financial Controller -AXS-One), Nicky Maredi (CEO of African Legend Technologies) and Michael Jacobus (Director African Legend Solutions).

AXS-One African Solutions thus becomes the exclusive outlet in Southern Africa for AXS-One and its associated product set.
