African Hand Drums to Promote Movie, The Visitor, to Be Provided by World Wide Drums, LLC.

 was selected by Overture Films to supply more than 1100 djembe A djembe (pronounced jem bay) also known as djimbe, jenbe, jembe, yembe or sanbanyi in Susu; is a skin covered hand drum, shaped like a large goblet, and meant to be played with bare hands.  African hand drums to be used to publicize the movie, The Visitor. World Wide Drums was selected by Overture because of its reputation as a distributor of quality African drums and its ability to provide the large quantity of handmade djembe drums required within a relatively short period of time.

In the movie, The Visitor, music plays an important role. Two of the main characters connect over a djembe drum. The djembe drum, pronounced jembe, is a goblet shaped hand drum that is a popular African percussion instrument percussion instrument, any instrument that produces musical sound when its surface is struck with an implement (such as a mallet, stick, or disk) or with the hand. . African drumming is gaining in popularity in school curriculums, drum circles and healing institutions.
