Both holes successfully drilled through the overlying Main Zone succession of norites and anorthosites and are currently drilling in Platreef zone rocks. On March 1, 2005, AfriOre Limited reported the intersection of multiple zones of high grade platinum group metal mineralization in drill hole ZF1, the first hole of an initial 13,000 metre drilling programme being conducted by AfriOre in the project area. Drill holes ZF2 and ZF4 are both being drilled along the eastern boundary of the Zwartfontein property, the southern part of the project area. Both holes are planned to drill through the Platreef zone and into the underlying footwall rocks. ZF2 lies down-dip from Anglo Platinum Corporation's current mining operations at its Zwartfontein South pit while ZF4 is situated down-dip from an area that has been intensively drilled by Angloplats and incorporated into its proposed future open pit mining. It is anticipated that results from ZF2 and ZF4 will be available during April. AfriOre's President and CEO, Mike van Aswegen is the qualified person overseeing the exploration program.
