Afilias, the Registry For .INFO, Names New CEO; Former idealab! Exec To Lead Effort To Roll-Out The First Truly Global Top-Level Domain Name.

Afilias, the company selected by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, www.icann.org) A non-profit, international association founded in 1998 and incorporated in the U.S. It is the successor to IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority), which manages Internet addresses, domain names and the huge number  to operate the new .INFO registry, today announced that Ronald Berg is joining the company as its chief executive officer. Mr. Berg joins Afilias after leaving his most recent position as Vice President- Finance of idealab!'s New York New York, state, United States
