Muhammad Arif Paiman, manager of media department of National Olympic Committee National Olympic Committees (or NOCs) are the national constituents of the worldwide olympic movement. Subject to the controls of the International Olympic Committee, they are responsible for organizing their country's participation in the Olympic Games.  told Pajhwok Afghan News 7 sportsmen and three staffs were in the team.

He said: "Afghans sportsmen have good preparations and we hope that we will have good achievements."

He said the first competitions were launched in Iran two years back but Afghan team did not perform will.

Afghan Team was second in competitions held in Kabul three weeks back where Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan participated.
