Recommendations were made for action in all areas to meet immediate and long term needs. Health recommendations included the urgent provision of critical medical equipment and supplies, and health awareness campaigns in the media covering maternal and child health and other topics. The needs of refugee and internally-displaced women were recognised, including for health care services and education about sexual and reproductive health Within the framework of WHO's definition of health[1] as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, reproductive health, or sexual health/hygiene , as well as provision for basic security and protection. Donor support for a full needs assessment of health requirements was requested. AWSD recommended that all support from the international community should be made conditional on action to improve the situation of women in Afghanistan, including ensuring women equal rights and access to education, health care and employment, and protection from harassment Ask a Lawyer Question Country: United States of America State: Nevada I recently moved to nev.from abut have been going back to ca. every 2 to 3 weeks for med. an d abuse.
