Steve Bethke stated, "Affordable retains an investment position Gexa and I am currently a director of the Company. Affordable has secured an advantageous relationship with the Gexa, whereby Affordable will market Gexa's electricity services in the greater Houston Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown is a 10-county metropolitan area defined by the Office of Management and Budget. It is located along the Gulf Coast region in the U.S. state of Texas.  metropolitan region, beginning upon de-regulation in the state of Texas in January 2002."
