Affable Arthur finds Facebook friend; Boxing with Blair Wood.

won't be taking any prisoners when the two meet in London on June 26. After gradually working his way back up the British boxing ladder, he is determined to earn himself a title shot.

Having won all five of his bouts since returning to the ring last April, the former Commonwealth Games Commonwealth games, series of amateur athletic meets held among citizens of countries in the Commonwealth of Nations. "I'm very happy to get an eliminator and I can't wait to face Bhatia," he beamed. "He is one of the brightest talents on Frank Maloney's books and I really want to gauge myself against him.

"If I'm not good enough to win the British title, then I won't beat him. It's as simple as that. I intend to live the dream and make this work though. I will give it my all and if that's not good enough, so be it."

JAMIE Arthur has taken a novel approach in the build-up to his latest fight, foregoing any mind games to add his opponent as a friend on Facebook.

Since launching his comeback last year, Arthur has never been one to indulge in trash talk trash talk

But, as he prepares for a crucial British title eliminator against the undefeated Akaash Bhatia next month, it seems his adversity ad·ver·si·ty

"I just said I hope the training went well and I look forward to seeing him on fight night.

"He seems like a good guy and does a lot of work for his community. He doesn't talk trash about opponents either and it's nice to see that our boxing will do the talking."
