launching a Web site to provide consumers, employers and behavioral health Behavioral health was first used in the 1980's to name the combination of the fields mental health and substance abuse. As an example, an organization serving both mental health and substance abuse clients might refer to its practice as behavioral health or  providers with additional resources for their behavioral health needs. The site (www.aetnabehavioralhealth.com) offers consumers practical tips about mental health and substance abuse issues; offers employers details about the full benefits spectrum offered through Aetna Behavioral Health; and offers behavioral health providers a link to the self-service Web site that provides electronic connections for claims, patient eligibility and other administrative tasks.
