) health benefits plan, the program highlights the extraordinary strengths, achievements and community involvement of America's small businesses. A donation of $10,000 dollars will be made by Aetna directly to the charity chosen by the small business selected as Aetna's North Central Region Small Business of the Year.

This program aims to identify those who have surpassed expectations to become a truly exceptional small business and help these small business owners give back to their local community," said William Berenson, general manager of the North Central region for ASG. "As Aetna strives to meet the ever-changing demands of today's small businesses, the Small Business of the Year program is another way of putting our customers at the center of everything we do."

Aetna customers, including small businesses, non-profit organizations, and licensed brokers and agents selling Aetna products, are eligible to submit nominations. Online nomination forms and additional information can be found at www.aetna.com/employer/sboy.html. The deadline for submissions is August 15, 2004.
