Under the new contract, which took effect Dec. 1, members of Aetna's commercial plans can receive covered in-patient and out-patient services, at in-network rates, from physicians in any of MIMA's 15 locations in Brevard County. "As Aetna continues to grow its business in Brevard County and the rest of the Space Coast area, we're very happy to be able to give our members access to the MIMA physicians," said Ruth Fricke, Aetna's head of network operations for Florida. "It's our goal to maintain a broad network of high-quality physicians and hospitals for members to choose, and this contract supports that effort."
