Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) Taiwan announced today that Aetna Life Insurance Co. Taiwan Branch (Aetna Taiwan) is adopting CA's Unicenter TNG as its enterprise management standard and using Jasmine to develop new E-commerce applications in a full-scale effort to increase its competitiveness.

"Aetna's adoption of Unicenter TNG is expected to simplify overall management of Aetna's environment, particularly server operation, management of available resources and databases, remote control administration, and asset management," said Benson Chen, information director of Aetna Life Insurance Greater China, and vice president of Aetna Life Insurance Taiwan. "The system will also include pre-warning capabilities to prevent potential system problems by identifying and rectifying them at an early stage."
