Aethra Video Communication Connects Worldwide Italian Chambers of Commerce; Aethra Vega Star Silver Chosen for Worldwide Audio, Video and Data Network.


ANCONA Ancona (ängkô`nä), city (1991 pop. 101,285), capital of Ancona prov., chief city of Marche region, central Italy, on a promontory in the Adriatic Sea., Italy -- Aethra(R), a leader in the global telecommunications market, today announced that it has been chosen to provide the video communication technology for "VideoChambers," a new project worldwide involving more than 60 offices for the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad. Promoted and co-financed by Unioncamere and Assocamerestero, VideoChambers will allow branches in The Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia to create a new communications network using videoconference technology.

Each Chamber of Commerce wishing to join the project will receive a contribution of 50% of the estimated costs involved from the CCIE CCIE - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert

. The video communication solution chosen by the CCIE is Aethra's high-performance set-top system, Vega(R) Star Silver-E.
