Aethos Communication Systems Announces Name Change to Logica Aldiscon.


DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 1999--

Aethos Communication Systems announces its name change to Logica Aldiscon to further consolidate its business into parent company, Logica plc. In December, Logica acquired Aethos Communication Systems to become part of Logica's mobile telecommunications business unit, Logica Aldiscon.

Effective May 1, Aethos will begin conducting business under the Logica Aldiscon name. Moving forward, "Aethos" will be the brand name for the company's industry-leading wireless pre-paid intelligent network platform.

The name change is one of several forthcoming actions Aethos is implementing to leverage the benefits of being acquired by Logica. Partnering with Logica enables Aethos to better serve its customers throughout the world and demonstrate its commitment to the telecommunications industry by having stronger resources, worldwide customer support, and a leading-edge product and services portfolio.
