 today announced the availability of Aestiva LiveHelp Version 3.0.

The product allows businesses to provide live customer communications through their Web sites.

Aestiva is committed to helping companies fully integrate the Web with every component of their business. The new features of Aestiva LiveHelp 3.0 further that commitment.

One new feature is groups handling, which allows chat requests to connect with specific individuals or groups within an organization; linking the company Web site to sales, support, accounts-receivable or any other department.

"Groups handling gives customers a complete connection to your business," said D.M. Silverberg, Aestiva's Director of Technology. Aestiva LiveHelp makes it possible for customers to visit a Web site and chat live with real people in an organization; and in any part of the organization. "It puts customers in touch with people," said Silverberg, "It gives your Web site people-power."

Aestiva LiveHelp is a "point-and-click" Web application. Once the free installation is complete, a company can establish live support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  through links on their Web site or in email messages. The links launch a chat window where staff can help customers by answering questions or "pushing" specific Web pages to them.

Other new features of Aestiva LiveHelp Version 3.0 include chat transfer, which allows staff to hand off a chat session to any other staff; chat conferencing See teleconferencing. , which makes it possible for any number of staff to be brought into the online discussion; dynamic image links, which indicate whether or not chat is currently available; and Aestiva's Active-Chat technology which lets users know when staff is reading a message, typing a reply, or waiting for the next question.

Unlike ASP asp, popular name for several species of viper, one of which, the European asp (Vipera aspis), is native to S Europe. It is also a name for the Egyptian cobra (Naja haja).  chat services, Aestiva LiveHelp is installed on one's own Web site. There are no monthly fees.
