Aerovox names William Allen president of consolidated Mexican operations.

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, l996--Aerovox Incorporated announced today that Vice President William T. Allen III has been named president of Aerovox de Mexico.

While the two Aerovox plants in Juarez will remain geographically separate, management of Aerovox Mexico and Aero M will be consolidated.

In his new position, Allen will provide leadership for all manufacturing in both operations. He will also have dotted line responsibility for marketing, finance and product engineering, with direction provided by appropriate corporate management personnel.

Under Allen, who has been on loan to Aero M in Juarez from the Aerovox Group in New Bedford, Massachusetts since late August 1995, significant progress has been made at Aerovox Mexico and Aero M. Quality and deliveries have improved at both operations.
