Aerosmith to appear on PRODIGY in Chat Stadium; legendary band promotes "cyber-rights".


WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 1994--The rock group Aerosmith will move from on stage to online when they appear on PRODIGY, the nation's largest and most active online service, on Monday, Dec. 5.

The band's online "gig" was arranged through the Electronic Frontier Foundation See EFF.

To accommodate the expected crowd, PRODIGY will book Aerosmith into one of its Chat Stadiums, which can accommodate more than 1,000 people. Larger stadiums under development can accommodate up to 20,000. PRODIGY is the only online service with stadium capacity.
