This amount is calculated by subtracting the following items from gross sales: merchandise returned for credit, allowances for damaged or missing goods, freight
 for the four-week period ended February 28, 2004 increased 58.5% to $43.1 million, compared to $27.2 million for the four-week period ended March 1, 2003. The company's comparable store sales increased 26.4% for the month, versus a comparable store sales decrease of 3.1% in the year ago period.
