Aeronomics Partners with NexGen SI to Provide Data Warehouse Deployment Services.


IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 1997--NexGen SI, a global professional services (job) professional services - A department of a supplier providing consultancy and programming manpower for the supplier's products.  and software firm, today announced that it has been selected by Aeronomics Incorporated to participate in the design, development and implementation of data warehouse applications for selected projects.

Aeronomics will incorporate NexGen SI's applications into its revenue management projects for several major clients. These projects will enable Aeronomics' clients to more accurately assess future consumer behavior under dynamically changing market conditions, adjust pricing and allocate inventory accordingly. NexGen SI and Aeronomics are currently working on projects for two clients. The revenue management applications are expected to be on-line by end of first quarter 1997.

NexGen SI first will retrieve and convert transaction, consumption and pricing information for a new data warehouse system. The data warehouse will be enhanced with forecasting tools and optimal pricing "what-if" capabilities. In addition, the company will develop graphical user interfaces and report applications for Aeronomics' revenue management products.

Upon completion, a client will be able to "drill down" to information from the data warehouse system to forecast customer demand and determine optimal seasonal and individual pricing structures for the entire company. Pricing information will be available to a client's location through leading sales and reservation systems.
