AeroMexico Announces New Los Angeles-Acapulco Schedule; Schedule Change Provides More Vacation Time Via Only LAX-ACA Nonstop Service.

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 2002

AeroMexico, Mexico's largest airline, today announced that, effective July 11, 2002, it will move up the departure time for the only scheduled nonstop flights in the Los Angeles-Acapulco market.

This summer schedule change will result in AeroMexico's Flight #463 to Acapulco departing Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  on Thursdays and Sundays at 9 a.m., arriving in Acapulco at 2:50 p.m. The return Flight #462 will depart Acapulco on Thursdays and Sundays at 4 p.m., arriving Los Angeles at 5:55 p.m. Currently, the flights leave LAX at 12:50 p.m., arrive Acapulco at 6:35 p.m., and return to LAX at 11:35 a.m.

"We have changed our flight schedule to attract travelers who want to make the most of their leisure time this summer," said Rolf Hoehn, AeroMexico's Vice President, U.S. Division. "Our nonstop is already the most convenient way to go to Acapulco from Los Angeles. Now, with an earlier Acapulco arrival and a later departure, customers gain more time to enjoy their vacation."
