Aelita Software Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise management solutions for Windows-centric networks, today announced results for the first quarter ending March 31. Revenues for the first quarter of 2002 showed an increase of 167 percent over the same time period in 2001.

Aelita Software continued to see strong demand for its enterprise management solutions from organizations seeking more efficient ways to migrate to and administer Active Directory and Exchange 2000, enhance network security and reduce their exposure to system-related downtime.

First Quarter Highlights:

-- Aelita's customer base grew by over 250, 31 of which were listed on the
Fortune 1000.

-- Because of a 100 percent growth in staff over the last 12 months and the
addition of 16 new employees in the first quarter alone, Aelita moved into new
corporate headquarters at 6500 Emerald Parkway in Columbus, Ohio in March. The
move provides the company with almost twice the square footage of its previous
offices.

-- Aelita opened its first European office in Reading, United Kingdom, and
announced its intention to open a second European office in Germany. The
company named Malcolm Etchells managing director for Europe, Middle East and
Africa.

-- Microsoft credited Aelita with identifying the Domain Trust Vulnerability in
Windows NT and Windows 2000. Aelita discovered the vulnerability and worked
closely with Microsoft to address the situation. When Microsoft announced the
vulnerability in January, Aelita opened a special section of its Web site to
provide information about the vulnerability and also published two white papers
on the subject, Protecting Active Directory from the Domain Trust Vulnerability
