"Third quarter was very busy and productive," said Aelita President and Chief Executive Officer Ratmir Timashev. "We launched several new products that will be key to our future growth and exceeded our expectations financially. Large enterprises continue to recognize the value of the performance, scalability How much a system can be expanded. See scalable.

The quarter saw the release of new versions of Aelita's key operations and security solutions, EventAdmin and Enterprise Directory Reporter. These applications collect and consolidate IT data across the enterprise for analysis and reporting. The new releases add a common user interface to each solution, establishing the foundation for Aelita to create an IT intelligence solution to close the security gap and extend real-time 1. real-time - Describes an application which requires a program to respond to stimuli within some small upper limit of response time (typically milli- or microseconds). The company also extended its solutions for Active Directory management with the release of Enterprise Directory Manager, which provides provisioning and administration management for Windows 2000, Active Directory and Exchange 2000 environments. Enterprise Directory Manager enables IT managers and high-level administrators to efficiently distribute and control administrative privileges based on organizational roles, while protecting the integrity and security of the network through rules-based provisioning.

"Enterprise Directory Manager is a very strategic product for Aelita," said Timashev. "Large enterprises recognize that sophisticated administrative management is critical to the efficient operation and security of Active Directory based networks. Enterprise Directory Manager gives them a full-featured solution to this challenge and extends Aelita's range of enterprise solutions into administration and provisioning."
