Aegis Software Upgrades Exchange Simulator for NASDAQ and London Stock Exchange.

NEW YORK -- Today Aegis Software announced Version 6.2 of its Exchange Simulator test product. The software has been enhanced with new features that include ACT and TRACE support, as well as order and trade compatibility with the London Stock Exchange.

ACT and TRACE are the NASDAQ trade reporting interfaces for equities and fixed income, respectively. Exchange Simulator allows users to simulate both sides of a trade and thereby test all possible post-trade matching and reporting scenarios. London Stock Exchange support includes simulation of the native SETS interface, with full LSE authentication layer, market states and business rules provided.

Exchange Simulator offers simulation of over 20 trading destinations, including AMEX, ARCA, BBSS, BOX, BRUT, BTRD, CBOE, CME, INET, ISE, LAVA, NYFIX, NASDAQ, NYSE, PCX, PHLX, and supports protocols including FIX, CMS, CTCI, QIX, OUCH, RASH and XML. Multiple users can access Exchange Simulator simultaneously, each testing in their own isolated workspace, with a graphical user interface providing control of the system. A wide range of functional, regression, performance and exchange-compatibility tests are available, and all scenarios can be automated or run under manual control.
