connectivity. Aegis' CMS Driver comes on the heels of NYSE's July 31, 2002 discontinuation of new non-TCP/IP line access (e.g. X.25, Bisync, 3270, Async). As mandated by NYSE, effective December 31, 2003, all customer lines into the exchange must be converted to TCP/IP via the NYSE CAP network.

"The CMS Driver is for any firm that needs a modern software implementation of CMS", said Norm Friedman, Vice President, Aegis Software. "With the deadline now announced for the elimination of non-TCP/IP connections, brokers must become compliant as soon as possible. The Driver is usable out-of-the-box and all that is needed is integration to the back-end. The retirement of the older wire protocols also affords the opportunity to decommission de·com·mis·sion

Through their custom trading solution and off the shelf products including the Client Simulator, Exchange Simulator, CMS Driver, CMS-to-FIX converter, FIX-to-CMS converter, T3 Total Trade Test, and FIX Certification Suite, Aegis addresses the connectivity and quality assurance needs of equities order management and order processing systems, exchanges, and ECNs.
