Aegis Semiconductor Names Jeffrey Farmer as Chief Executive Officer; Industry Veteran Joins Optical Monitoring Company.


WOBURN, Mass. -- Aegis Semiconductor, a leading supplier of cost-effective wavelength monitoring and control solutions, has named Jeffrey D. Farmer as its President and Chief Executive Officer. He will also serve as a member of the Aegis board of directors.

"Aegis' innovative tunable thin-film technology has proven to be a very robust platform for innovative solutions; our products are revolutionizing telecommunication networks by providing customers increased intelligence at affordable prices."

In his new role, Mr. Farmer succeeds Dr. Donald Bossi, who has served as CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization.
