Aegis Names Robert M. Di Scipio President and CEO; New Leader to Guide Software Developer's Growth Strategy.

LAFAYETTE, Colo. -- Aegis Analytical Corporation, a leading provider of manufacturing performance management software and services used by major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, announced today the appointment of Robert M. Di Scipio as president and chief executive officer.

Di Scipio has more than 22 years of leadership experience in business development, sales management, corporate law, and finance, including senior executive positions with biotechnology, software and technology companies. He replaces David Darsch, who served as Aegis' interim CEO.

Di Scipio is the founder of Skyland Capital, LLC, a late stage venture capital firm based in Boulder, Colo. His biotechnology career includes executive positions with Martek Biosciences Corporation and Boulder-based OmegaTech, Inc. in which he had responsibility for business development, sales, corporate development, legal affairs, intellectual property strategy and licensing, and debt and equity finance.
