AeA's Midwest Council Names New Chairman; PCTEL CEO Accepts Position.

CHICAGO -- AeA, the nation's largest high-tech trade association, announced today that Marty Singer, Chairman and CEO of PCTEL, Inc., will serve as Chairman of its Midwest Council. PCTEL (Nasdaq:PCTI), based in Chicago, IL, is a leader in simplifying mobility.

As part of this new role, Mr. Singer will also have a seat on AeA's National Board of Directors, which includes high-tech executives from companies like Adobe, Intel, HP, Intuit, TI, Manugistics, Cisco, and others.

A 20-year veteran of telecom and technology, Mr. Singer served as CEO of SAFCO Technologies and has held executive positions at Motorola and Tellabs. He began his career at Bell Labs.
