We had four facilities recognized by AHCA last year and the addition of these five awards in 2005 highlights our continued commitment to providing quality healthcare for our residents."

The AHCA awards are based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award is given by the United States National Institute of Standards and Technology. Through the actions of the National Productivity Advisory Committee chaired by Jack Grayson, it was established by the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality  criteria and have three levels of awards for nursing homes. Step I awards are the first recognition level in the process.
