Advocacy for the public schools never has been more important so AASA AASA American Association of School Administrators
AASA Asian American Student Association
AASA Association of Academies of Sciences in Asia
AASA Aging and Adult Services Administration
AASA Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army
 is running a three-day conference in the nation's capital, "Stand Up for Public Education: Advocating for Each Child," for those who want to influence public support at the federal level.

The conference, May 9-11, will be held at the Marriott Crystal City Gateway in Arlington, Va. Room reservations at the discounted conference rate (you must mention AASA) must be completed by April 10.

Speakers will include Stan Collender, managing director, Financial Dynamics; Jack Jennings, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , Center on Education Policy; Trent Ross, Ipsos Public Affairs Those public information, command information, and community relations activities directed toward both the external and internal publics with interest in the Department of Defense.
