("ARI ARI Acute respiratory infection, see there ") currently holds for its clients in excess of 3.3 million shares of Longs Drug Stores ("Longs" or "the Company"), representing approximately ap·prox·i·mate adj. 1. Almost exact or correct: the approximate time of the accident. 2. 9.3% of the outstanding shares of the Company. As indicated in our Form 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 20th, 2008, ARI believes that additional disclosure and examination of the assets is required before Longs shareholders are in a position to determine the adequacy of CVS (1) (Concurrent Versions System) A version control system for Unix that was initially developed as a series of shell scripts in the mid-1980s. CVS maintains the changes between one source code version and another and stores all the changes in one file. Caremark Corporation's ("CVS") bid. Based upon the information that has been provided to date, ARI believes the CVS bid may fail to reflect the value of Longs and its related assets (including, but not limited to, owned real estate and long term lease agreements). Should the Company refuse to provide additional detail on such assets, ARI is ready to take additional steps to protect the value of its clients' investment. |
