Advertising Age Announces Top 300 Grossing Magazines; PC Gamer Receives Highest Ranking of Any Game Publication.BRISBANE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1998--Advertising Age has published its "Ad Age 300: The Annual Countdown" (June 15, 1998 issue), the yearly listing of the top 300 grossing publications. Among the honorees was market-leading PC Gamer PC Gamer is a magazine founded in 1993 devoted to PC gaming and published monthly by Future Publishing. The magazine features news on developments in the video game industry, previews of new games, and reviews of the latest popular PC games, along with other features , ranked 202nd -- the highest spot of any electronic game publication. The PC Gamer placement was up from 238th in 1996, on the strength of total revenues (combined advertising and circulation sales) a full 25.7% higher than those of the previous year. - Overall ad pages are up 2.5% and ad dollar growth is up 7.1%
