AdventNet Selected by D-Link to Offer Centralized Management, Security for SMB WLANs; WiFi Manager Will Be Bundled With D-Link Wireless Access Points.


PLEASANTON, Calif. -- AdventNet Inc., a pioneer and leader in cost-effective network management software, today announced that D-Link, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumers and business, will bundle WiFi Manager with its wireless access points to give small- to medium-sized businesses (SMB (1) (Small to Medium-sized Business) Also called "SME" (small to medium-sized enterprise), it refers to companies that are larger than the small office/home office (SOHO), but not huge. ) greater management control and security for their wireless local area networks (WLANs).

D-Link will bundle AdventNet's ManageEngine WiFi Manager with eight of its most popular wireless access points (APs) to provide SMBs with enterprise-class centralized management and security of their WLANs. The comprehensive package will be offered with D-Link's DWL-2100, DWL-2200, DWL-2700, DWL-3200, DWL-7100, DWL-7200, DWL-7700 and DWL-8200.

AdventNet's WiFi Manager software can detect major wireless threats, including rogue attacks, intrusions, sniffers, DoS attacks and other vulnerabilities.
