: DINE) today reported same-store sales Same-store sales is a business term which refers to the revenue generated by one of a retail chain's specific outlets during a certain period of time (often a fiscal quarter or a particular shopping season), compared to an identical period in the past, usually in the previous year.  for company-owned restaurants during the five-week period ended March 28, 2001, compared with the same period in fiscal year 2000.

Denny's Denny's is the largest full-service family restaurant chain in the United States. It operates over 2,500 restaurants in the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada, CuraƧao, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Japan, Mexico, and New Zealand.

For the fiscal month of March, Denny's company-owned restaurants posted an increase in same-store sales of 0.9%. The increase included the impact of a 3.9% higher average guest check.

Coco's and Carrows Carrows is a chain of casual dining restaurants operating in the western portion of the United States. As of 2004, the chain operates over 100 restaurants, mostly in California and with locations in New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.

For the fiscal month of March, Coco's posted a decline in same-store sales at company-owned units of 7.9% which included a 1.9% higher average guest check. Carrows same-store sales decreased 1.9% which included a 3.5% higher average guest check.
