DigitalTech Displays introduces self-contained Advantia "s" and "i" model systems for the rapidly emerging interactive retail point of sale (POS) and point of information markets (POI).

All Advantia models playback video in either MPEG1 or MPEG2 & still digital formats. The media content is stored on scalable Compact Flash which can support up to one hour of video messaging. The built-in player has no disk drives or spinning media. With no moving parts, Advantia is a highly reliable solution for harsh retail or public environments.

Advantia "s" models are stand-alone, view-only units. Programming of track selection is completed through the use of an integrated on-screen display. S models also support both Compact Flash and Smart Media memory modules.

Advantia "i" models are stand-alone & internet updateable displays. "i" models include interactive touch panels, which can support up to 36 separate touch locations on the screen. With an optional software package, "i" models video content can be changed by downloading digital video files via the internet.
