Advantec Expands Service Offerings and Reports Solid Growth in Q2 2006.

TAMPA, Fla. -- Advantec, a provider of managed human resource services, announced today another highly successful quarter, placing the company in position for a strong year. Building on an outstanding first quarter, Advantec's second quarter 2006 revenues were up double digits Double Digits was a pricing game on the American television game show, The Price Is Right. Played from April 20, 1973 through May 18, 1973's show, it was played for a car and used small prizes.  over the same period in 2005.

As reported in the first quarter, Advantec has expanded its PEO business into national markets. This expansion helped fuel double digit Noun 1. double digit - a two-digit integer; from 10 to 99

lives doubled over same period 2005. "Advantec's great first quarter momentum has carried through the second quarter, and we fully expect to see continued growth through the remainder of 2006," said Pat Goepel, Advantec's Chief Executive Officer. "In addition to a significant growth in our client base, we have also seen increased revenue generated by current clients who are choosing to add to their service offering."

Several key consulting services Noun 1. consulting service - service provided by a professional advisor (e.g., a lawyer or doctor or CPA etc.)

helped drive Q2 successes, including Advantec's Recruiting Solutions. This service offers clients a range of recruiting support options from consulting expertise in the creation and posting of a job description to analysis of a compensation offering, and screening and interviewing support. Advantec also assists clients by conducting background and drug screening and then completes the new hire process by on-boarding the new employee. Advantec's Recruiting Solutions increased 300% quarter over quarter, a sign that many clients find value in Advantec's Recruiting Solutions.

To further support clients in the development and retention of top personnel, Advantec recently introduced its Professional Training and Education Courses, a series of development classes for employees and managers. These courses are offered in classroom settings at regional locations, on site at a client's place of business, or at Advantec. Consulting services like recruiting and professional development are just a few examples of how Advantec's HR BPO solutions can benefit clients in areas that extend beyond the traditional transactional services of payroll, tax and benefits administration.

"We are seeing our clients turn to Advantec more and more for our consultative service offerings," said Mr. Goepel. "Ideal Image, a national franchise with over 50 locations in the U.S., is a great example of a client who has found increasing value in the services we provide. This past quarter, the client contracted for several value-added services A value-added service (VAS) is a telecommunications industry term for non-core services or, in short, all services beyond standard voice calls and fax transmissions. , including our Management Development Course. Ideal Image also uses our Recruiting Solutions. Our consulting services build upon their collective successes. Once a client contracts for a new service, the value is perceived so immediately that the client is very interested in exploring more consultative support."
