Advanta boosts common stock dividends by more than 20%.

The regular quarterly dividend on the Class B common stock was raised to $.132 per share from $.108 and the dividend on the Class A common stock was raised to $.11 per share from $.09, increases of 22% each.

This marks the fifth consecutive yearly dividend increase for the Class B shares and the seventh consecutive annual increase for Class A. Fourth quarter dividends will be payable on Dec. 17, 1996 to shareholders of record on Nov. 29, 1996.
