It has an initial controlled circulation of 31,000. Advanstar said the title is targeted to professional landscape design/build contractors, architects and designers who provide landscape construction and design services. Editorial covers the "practical, day-to-day day-to-day adj. 1. Occurring on a routine or daily basis: the day-to-day movements of the stock market. 2. side of managing the business, preforming design and construction services profitably and how to use a variety of landscape materials and products in the best manner," the company said. Content focuses on the process of sales and marketing, design, plant and material selection and siting, preparation and installation, equipment handling and maintenance, and employee management. It also includes news of industry trends, features on operations and products, project reviews and 'how-to's.' Initial issues cover such topics as: productivity audits, 'radical' landscapes, working with developers, irrigation irrigation, in agriculture, artificial watering of the land. Although used chiefly in regions with annual rainfall of less than 20 in. (51 cm), it is also used in wetter areas to grow certain crops, e.g., rice. installation, and architect/contractor teams. Besides the new title, Advanstar's Landscape Group is composed of Golfdom, TurfGrass Trends and Landscape Management magazines. |
