Aftermarket manufacturers in the off-road industry will soon have exciting new means of getting their products to the dealers who want them most.

Advanstar Communications today announced the launch of Off-Road Aftermarket Expo 2003, their latest trade event targeting qualified ATV (1) (Advanced TV) An early name for the digital TV standard proposed by the Advisory Committee on Advanced Television Service (ACATS). Produced by Advanstar's TEAM Powersports, Off-Road Aftermarket Expo plans to host some of off-road's biggest brands. The event is expected to draw some 200 exhibitors and more than 1,600 dealers. The three-day event will also offer participating dealers and manufacturers plenty of opportunities to make new industry contacts, as well as strengthen existing business relationships. Along with the actual trade show, participants can expect a Thursday golf tournament benefiting the fight against land closure, an industry party on Friday night with shuttle rides to and from the U.S. Open races, demo rides, rider autograph sessions, and a closing-day breakfast featuring a key industry speaker.

According to Harris, scheduling the show's launch for October was no mistake. "October is a great time of year to launch an event like this," she asserted. "It's just a huge month for the off-road industry. Not only does the U.S. Open signal the advent of the supercross season, but this is the month when off-road companies launch the year's hot new products and apparel."

She added, "When it came to the Off-Road Aftermarket Expo, we knew it wasn't enough to just provide an awesome show. The dealers and manufacturers in this industry will recognize that we went the extra mile delivering crucial networking opportunities, relevant October timing, and key Las Vegas placement, too."
