Advanstar Communications and The MASIE Center today announced a significant business relationship for the production of TechLearn and e-learning events and publications.

As part of the alliance, Advanstar will own and manage TechLearn while Elliott Masie and The MASIE Center will produce the content and host the event.

In addition, Masie will serve as the senior columnist columnist, the writer of an essay appearing regularly in a newspaper or periodical, usually under a constant heading. Although originally humorous, the column in many cases has supplanted the editorial for authoritative opinions on world problems.  for e-learning magazine, as well as co-locate his "Business of e-learning Briefing" in Washington, D.C., with the 12th annual e-learning Conference & Expo, April 8-11, 2002. The MASIE Center will also co-develop with Advanstar additional learning-industry-related projects and activities.

TechLearn is an annual event, focused on business and government leaders engaged in learning and training activities using new technologies to develop work force skills, engage customers and provide educational programs.
