Advanstar Acquires Post Magazine; Leading Magazine Serving the Professional Post Production Market.


CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 1998--Advanstar Communications Inc., a leading business publishing and exposition company, Monday acquired Post, a leading magazine serving the animation, audio, film and video post production industry, from Testa Communications, a privately-held publishing company based in Port Washington Port Washington, uninc. town (1990 pop. 15,387), Nassau co., SE N.Y., a suburb of New York City, on the north shore of Long Island and Manhasset Bay. There is extensive manufacturing, much of it reflecting the region's past association with the aircraft and aerospace , N.Y.

Established in 1986, Post's editorial focuses on the interests, needs, innovations and news of various aspects of the post production world. Post reaches 30,550 professionals in the field of television, film and video production including post production facilities, broadcast television stations, TV program production companies, audio recording studios, motion picture production, film facilities and others allied to the production and post production industry.
