Talking to the reporters in New Delhi, Singh said "Advani has decided in his individual capacity that he will not be celebrating Holi as a mark of respect to those killed in the November 26 Mumbai terror attack." However, he clarified that Advani's decision to mourn on the festival on March 11 is not binding on the BJP leaders. "Whoever in the BJP wants to celebrate Holi is free to do so," Singh said. He further revealed that the veteran leader has not celebrated any of the festivals that have fallen since 26/11 strikes.
